WARRANTY

LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

TRIPLE CROWN warrants that each door it manufactures is built according to accepted industry standards and that, for a period of one year from the date of shipment, and at the time of shipment, the door is free of defects which would render the door unserviceable or unfit for the ordinary, recommended use.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF THE WARRANTY

The following are not defects in workmanship or materials and are not covered by this written warranty:

  1. Damages caused by attempts to repair the door by other than Triple Crown, or it's designated repair company.
  2. Failure to properly seal the door. All six sides must be sealed before or immediately after fitting and hanging door, and the integrity of the finish must be maintained.
  3. Panel misalignment or shrinkage.
  4. Damage due to exposure to direct sun or rain under everyday conditions.
  5. Warp or bow not exceeding 1/4" in the plane of the door (3/8" for doors larger than 36" x 80").
  6. Problems caused by warp or bow of jamb or frame in which the door is hung.
  7. Improper hanging or installation of the door.
  8. Im proper handling or storage.
  9. Natural variations in the color, graining and texture of the wood.
  10. Performance or appearance of finishes applied to the door is not covered.
  11. Triple glazed glass is warranted for ten years against fogging. There is no other warranty on any glass insert.
  12. Installation behind any glass storm door, other than a double-vented model, will void the warranty.
Except as noted above, there are no express warranties that extend beyond one year, and any implied warranties, including warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to one year. (If the state in which you reside does not allow the limitation or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, the above may not apply to you.)

Triple Crown shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding the purchase price of the door, even if the claim is for breach of warranty or negligence. (If the state in which you reside does not allow the limitation or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, the above may not apply to you.)
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

Upon discovering a covered defect in your door, you may call us at 1-800-460-TCBP, write to Triple Crown Building Products, Inc.; P.O. Box 760877; San Antonio, Texas 78245 or notify the dealer or distributor from whom you purchased the door.

NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DOES ANY DEALER, DISTRIBUTOR OR SALES REPRESENTATIVE HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO MODIFY OR CHANGE THIS WARRANTY.
